A. There are NO monthly plan fees with 10-10-987. You’re charged only for the
calls you complete, and the charges will appear on your local phone bill. As
with any long-distance call, applicable taxes and Federal Universal Service
Fees are assessed.

A. No. 10-10-987 only charges for completed calls. If a call rings without ever
being picked up by a live or recorded voice, you will not be charged.

A. All calls anywhere in U.S. are 6˘ per minute and a low 83˘ to
connect -- 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These rates apply on all
state-to-state, in-state and local toll calls. Just dial 10-10-987 + 1 + the
area code and the number you wish to call. Charges will appear on your local
phone bill.
Q. How much does it cost to call Canada?
A. All calls to Canada are 6˘ per minute and a low 83˘ to connect --
24 hours a day, seven days a week. Just dial 10-10-987 + 1 + the area code and
the number in Canada you wish to call. Charges will appear on your local phone
bill.
Q. How much does it cost to call the rest of the world?
A. 10-10-987 has low international calling rates around the world. Please visit
our Rate Locator to look up specific rates by
country.. These great rates apply 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Just dial
10-10-987 + 011 + the country code and the number you wish to call. Charges
will appear on your local phone bill.
Q. Why is there an additional per minute charge to call mobile phones in
some countries?
A. Due to increased costs imposed by some overseas telephone companies, an
additional per minute charge will apply to international calls to mobile phones,
pagers and other premium numbers for certain countries. This international
mobile termination (IMT) fee varies by country and will be added to the cost
of the call. An "M" will appear in the call detail portion of your bill
indicating which calls terminated to mobile or premium numbers. The IMT fee does
not apply to regular international calls or to domestic calls.

Q. How will I be billed for 10-10-987 calls?
A.
If MCI has a billing agreement with your local carrier, charges for 10-10-987 calls will automatically appear on your local telephone bill in a section labeled "Telecom*USA" *. Your local telephone bill will include the date, time, number, city/ country called, length and charge for each call, along with applicable taxes and Federal Universal Service Fees. MCI will bill you directly if we do not have a billing agreement with your local carrier.
Q. How long will it take before the charges appear on my phone bill?
A. 10-10-987 charges usually appear on your local phone bill within 1 or 2
months from the time you make the call. The calls may be found on a separate
page or section labeled "Telecom*USA" and/or MCI. The numbers "987" should appear in the "Place
Called" field to help you identify these calls.
Q. What is the Federal Universal Service Fee?
A. The 1996 Telecommunications
Act requires all long distance
companies to contribute a portion of
their revenues to the Federal
Universal Service Fund which
provides discounted
telecommunications services to
schools, libraries and low income
consumers. Our Federal
Universal Service Fee is at
charge on state-to-state and international monthly long distance charges, which
is used to help contribute to this fund. This charge will appear separately on
your bill. This percentage rate may change from time to time based on the rates set by the FCC.

A. 10-10-987 is available in most areas of the U.S., excluding
Alaska. You can check availability
in your area by dialing 10-10-987 on your next long distance call. If your call
goes through, 10-10-987 is available in your area. If your call does not go
through, either 10-10-987 is not available in your area or there is a block

determine if there is a block that prevents you from using 10-10-987.
Q. Is 10-10-987 available for
calls initiated outside of the
United States?
A. No, 10-10-987 is available
only for calls initiated within the
continental U.S. and Hawaii.
Q. Can I use 10-10-987 from any phone?
A. 10-10-987 is primarily intended to be used from your home telephone. It may
also be used from some small business telephones and fax machines.
Unfortunately, it is not available from pay phones, cell phones, CLEC phones, VoIP phones, hotel rooms,
dormitories, military bases or most businesses.

Q. What is a 10-10 number?
A. A long distance code that gives you freedom to use long distance carrier of your choice at
great rates, without having to switch your presubscribed long distance carrier. By dialing
10-10-987 before the numbers you call, your calls will transmit over MCI networks and the
charges will appear on your local phone bill.
Q. How do I use 10-10-987?
A. Just dial 10-10-987, then 1, then the area code, and the phone number. For
international calls, dial 10-10-987, then 011, the country code and the phone
number.
Q. Do I need to switch long distance companies to use 10-10-987?
A. No. Use 10-10-987 without switching your long distance company. You only
need to have local wireline phone service to use 10-10-987.
Q. Do I need to keep a long distance carrier to use 10-10-987?
A. Generally, you do not need a long distance carrier to use 10-10-987. You
should contact your local phone company, however, to determine whether or not
you will be assessed a fee if you opt not to subscribe to a long distance
carrier.
Q. Are calling cards available?
A. No, 10-10-987 is a long distance access code for calls made from home.
Calling cards are not available.
